Welcome to the NOMATEN Workshop.
Dear Colleagues,
We are delighted to announce that NOMATEN will be hosting a Workshop focused on Advanced Materials for Nuclear and Other Applications under Extreme Conditions on August 8-9, 2023. This event will be held as a hybrid event, providing both in-person and virtual participation options.
We are honored to have the distinguished presence of Prof. Ju Li from MIT and Dr. Michael J. Demkowicz from Texas A&M University as keynote speakers, adding significant value to the workshop. The primary aim of this event is to foster scientific collaborations between the United States and Poland, bringing together experts and researchers in the field of materials science, specifically related to nuclear research and extreme operating conditions.
The workshop will encompass a wide array of topics, ranging from numerical simulations to experimental exploration, all relevant to materials science. The language of the workshop will be English, ensuring accessibility to participants from around the world.
By attending this Workshop, participants will gain valuable insights into the current state of international materials science research, with presentations from renowned researchers covering a diverse range of subjects. After each presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to engage in interactive question and answer sessions, either by writing questions or using a microphone. We strongly encourage networking among attendees, facilitating individual connections and fostering potential collaborations.
We cordially invite all interested researchers, scientists, and professionals to join us for this enriching event. Registration details and further information will be shared in the coming weeks.
Looking forward to your active participation and the meaningful discussions that will unfold during this Workshop.
