Welcome to the NOMATEN Winter School 2026
Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to invite you to participate in the NOMATEN Winter School 2026.
The NOMATEN Winter School 2026 will be held on 13–14 October 2026 at the National Centre for Nuclear Research (NCBJ) in Otwock-Świerk, Poland. The School is an internal collaboration event organized within the Centre of Excellence NOMATEN and brings together researchers, PhD students and experts from the NOMATEN consortium partners: NCBJ, CEA and VTT.
The event provides a unique platform for scientific exchange, networking and strengthening collaboration between the three institutions. Participants will have an opportunity to learn about the latest research activities carried out within NOMATEN, discuss emerging scientific challenges and explore new opportunities for future cooperation.
The scientific programme will cover advanced materials research, radiopharmaceutical sciences and nuclear technologies. The School will feature invited lectures, presentations by senior scientists, dedicated PhD student sessions and discussions focused on ongoing research activities across the NOMATEN consortium. Participants will also have the opportunity to visit selected research laboratories and infrastructure facilities at NCBJ.
The Winter School is designed especially for young researchers and PhD students, offering an excellent opportunity to present their work, exchange ideas with colleagues from different scientific disciplines and gain insights from experienced researchers and invited experts.
In addition to the scientific programme, participants will be able to take part in networking activities, including a guided tour of Warsaw and the Winter School dinner, creating further opportunities for informal discussions and collaboration.
The expected number of participants is approximately 50 people.
