Description
I will talk about images of black holes in Saggittarius A* and M87 obtained with the Event Horizon Telescope. Both images have a ring-like morphologies consisstent with predictions of magnetohydrodynamical simulations of gas dynamics in Kerr metric. EHT results provide new window for future tests of gravitational physics and unique way to observe physics of accretion and jet formation around supermassive black holes.
