DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Jarosław Duda (UJ)\nWhile naively laser only excit
es target\, it can also cause its\ndeexcitation – as stimulated emission
\, backward ASE (amplified\nspontaneous emission)\, or in Rabi cycle cycli
cally causing excitation and deexcitation. STED microscopy is a popular ap
plication of laser causing deexcitation - I would like to propose and disc
uss a few more\, based on its properties suggested by CPT symmetry\, with
potential realization by synchrotron radiation. For example\, while CT sca
nner makes 3D maps of absorption coefficient\, CPT symmetry suggests how t
 o\nanalogously measure/map emission coefficients\, what should have much b
etter transparency. Related medical applications could be causing deexcita
tion of autoluminescent molecules like NADH\, e.g. to starve cancer tissue
. I would also like to discuss potential application to stimulate nuclear
decay. Finally\, the original motivation was more symmetric and powerful t
wo-way quantum computers (2WQC)\, for example with photonic chip between c
 oupled laser resonators.\n\nhttps://events.ncbj.gov.pl/event/422/contribut
