Monte Carlo simulations are essential for High Energy Physics experiments. Simulations of particle interactions in calorimeters are very time consuming. Fast Calorimeter Simulation Challenge (https://calochallenge.github.io/homepage/) aims to spur the development and benchmarking of fast and high-fidelity calorimeter shower generation using deep learning methods. The talk will review generative deep learning models that were proposed for the Calo Challange as well as other related use cases for fast MC simulations.
