 \n \n\n\n\nThe rationale\n\nThe Vera C. Rubin Observatory Legacy Survey o
 f Space and Time (Rubin-LSST) will receive the first light at the end of 2
 024. The first data release is expected approximately one year later. Pola
 nd participates in the survey through the In-kind programme\, which includ
 es constructing and servicing an Independent Data Access Center (IDAC) acc
 ompanied by software development and providing associated derived data pro
 ducts. The conference aims to gather the Polish Rubin-LSST community to di
 scuss its scientific goals\, current needs\, expectations\, and future pla
 ns. A one-day workshop on data processing is planned for the last day of t
